.week thirteen.

Old Railroad Station
Cashmere, WA

A lot has changed in the past few weeks and I find myself trying to slow down and find balance with all the new parts and responsibilities in my life. This week was a short walk, more to do it than to be present but it was a walk and just as every week I’m finding that if I listen, these walks (moments) always tell me something I need to hear. This week it was slow down, allow yourself the space to find a new rhythm and be kind to yourself. I ended up at the old railroad station in downtown Cashmere and the cement build was so beautiful from the afternoon rain. The colors and the sloppy cement textures almost looked like sand to me. I’ve been thinking about belonging a lot this week. How fulfilled I am on my drives home from work and in the same moment miss so many places. I belong to so many places and I carry them all in my heart. I’m so grateful for all of them and for those to come. Lots of thoughts this week on quiet morning and evening drives.

Meditation: It’s ok to slow down. It’s ok to allow yourself space to find a new rhythm.
